Available Grants
Hegele Grant
Hegele Grant applications are accepted between July 1 and September 1 of each year. Forms are in PDF format. You should be able to fill the form electronically. If not, please print the form out and fill it in and submit it to the office. If you need additional space, please use a separate piece of paper.
The Good Idea Fund
To apply, submit a written letter to Ron King or Bishop Papson at the Synod Office. In that letter, please describe your project in detail. Specifically, please include the following:
an overview of how your project will make Lutheranism more visible and/or extends your ministry;
the project’s estimated total costs;
funds that are available from other sources (we normally look to act as a partner);
the timeline for when you’d need the funds and to whom they should be sent
